time flies

its amazing how time flies. Days feel like years when locked up but on the other side of the wall years feel like days. They say its better late then never, but I never thought it would take 25 years to grow up. The more I learn in life the more scared I become that Ive wasted to much time. Haha guess that why they call it the long way(hard way). I always wanted to feel like i belonged, to be apart of something more then just the common monotony of day to day life. But are my ambitions as the wind? Only to linger till another option comes to whisk me away? No, not this time. I’m to tired of moving around and never settling. Its all or nothing. Nobody can live my life for me so i must make it a point to live it to the fullest.

Prayer of Humility

My only prayer is to be proud of who ive become without being prideful of who i am, to be the best at what i do without being better then everyone, to set the right example without my example having to be the only right way, to give advise without forgetting how to recieve advice, to give respect without demanding it in return, to not forget the hunger pains of yesterday in the moments of fulfillment, may my life be a stepping stone for others to succeed as others have been for me. Lord keep me humble.

Surviving

So here where life seems to have no purpose one can only look up to see hope in the distance. But as darker it gets in the ‘now’, the weight of this existence continues to bare down, it gets harder to find strength to keep eyes up. How to break the momentum of failure? The increasing speed of failing leaves no footing to recover, to move into the skies of hope. How to rise from the ashes that suffocate, from embers that only kindle the pain of now. Is it these times that man puts faith to end in heaven or is the singed soul to far from the path to survive? May not the scars of the past, and present ones made, create not limitations for succeeding in the future.

Love

Love. I would rather write of love in crafty little poems to taste the feeling without having to partake of it. To know of it without having it. What is love? Love is of the oldest words and yet its context of meaning has changed according to use or society. Love to me is the ultimate feeling, no the ultimate gift that one can have. It is knowing that nothing will change it no matter what changes around it. Love I have in the sence of good people in my life who never changed even when events have.  Love  I seek is a feeling I once had that I have yet to duplicate with another. It is a feeling that satified my heart but at the same time made me hunger for more of it. Love that brings security, place of hope, and purpose even in dark times. Love can not be confined to a word, the word love means what it shows and is. So to me a spoken love is never enough, never complete. It is a feeling reflecting from what is. So I commit my life to the pursuit of Love, Love that does not change even when everything else will.

Turning Point

A new world is about to form and crumble. The time to stand is NOW. “…united we stand…” The government is of the people for the people. It is NOT to control the people. We (Americans) live in a land of the free not the socialist. The day the government takes control is the day freedom dies. Everything our forefathers fought and died for will be no more, and all those who gave the ultimate price for this country will be nothing more than a name. How to resist the lure of power? Who is in charge of making sure our leaders stay leaders and not tyrants? The people. But who will listen if we have not a voice? And if we find a voice, who will act upon what needs to be done if we the people have no strength? We are a dying nation, as grand as the bald eagle who has lost his flight. A awesome nation such as ours (UNITED states of AMERICANS) will always have our problems, but let the people rise to work things out and not let the government take control of our lives. When things are bad it is best to take a step back and analyze the situation, NOT to rush into a quick fix that will prove to make bigger problems along the way. Let our Leader lead with his heart, mind and soul. NOT with money, power and authority! America, let us take OUR country back from corruption and pride that pollutes our nation.
